FSA’s Jaish al-Nasr claims downing of Russian Su-25 jet.

Alaa al-Hamwi, military commander of Jaish al-Nasr’s aid defense battalion, announced the downing of a Russian warplane in the skies of Saraqeb in Idlib’s eastern countryside.

Alaa added that since the intensification of aerial campaign on Saraqeb city, Jaish al-Nasr’s command sent one of the Air Defense series to protect Saraqeb’s skies which allowed for the opportunity to directly hit the Russian jet.

Jaish al-Nasr is considered a gathering of several FSA factions supplied with the American antitank TOW missiles.

Jaish al-Nasr is especially active in Hama’s northern countryside in the towns of Lataminah and Kafr Zita
